Face Soap And Clarity is a 3-in-1 daily face wash with ultra-soft, jojoba scrub-beads, plus super-tasking vitamins, minerals, amino acids and Soap & Glory’s exclusive SUPERFRUIT YUZU complex. It cleans and purifies skin, effortlessly removes make-up, and gently exfoliates. In short, it’s one killer cleanser!

Cleansing, foaming and smoothing
Gently detoxifies, polishes and purifies
Includes pigmentation-preventing antioxidants
Rejuvenates, energizes and brightens
Strategically formulated for oily/combination skin
How to Use
CLEAN UP WELL: Squeeze a grape sized measure of this fabulous Face Soap And Clarity onto damp skin, rub into a lather, then rinse. Follow with eye cream, moisturizer, and spot treatment if needed.

Pros: This is a great face wash, it is very light, lathers up well and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight. It has little pink exfoliating beads which are not abrasive. It gives a lovely cooling effect once on which gives the indication that it is deep cleansing your skin. After use you feel refreshed and your skin feels lovely and clean. It smells like minty fruit! Its very refreshing. I would recommend for all skin types, as its non drying and harsh.

Cons: I don't really like the packaging, product comes out really fast, so you may end up using more than you want to. Perhaps a tad too expensive for a simple face wash.

Pros: This Shampoo and Conditioner duo is perfect for heat damaged, dry hair. It smells very natural and divine with the mixture of 14 exotic oils that indulge your hair from root to tip. The only way to describe the smell is that of orange incense. It's perfect for my fine hair, leaving it silky smooth and very manageable. It's very light and lathers up really well. I have heat damaged hair with a fair few split ends, and this shampoo and conditioner has really improved the condition. Highly moisturizing without being too greasy. Makes my hair less frizzy. All in all a very good duo that has no build-up and leaves my hair smelling and looking great.

Cons: Slightly expensive. It's strong smelling that might not appeal to all, but I think it's one of the best shampoos and conditioners I've used.

Keep it cream: Lather up a small amount of Whipped Clean in your palm, then massage onto damp skin and rub until it's sudsy. Rinse well, and follow with your favourite body cream (if you need it.)

Pros: This body cream/wash smells amazing. It literally smells like cake batter, vanilla and cocoa. The great thing about this wash is that you only need the smallest amount to get a great lather. So it will last a long time. It has such a rich, creamy foam. It makes my skin feel super soft and luxurious. It is super moisturising and leaves my skin clean and refreshed. The smell of it also lingers for a quite a while on the skin. Gorgeous. Highly recommended. It is also great for shaving your legs with.

Bourjois: Volume Glamour Ultra Care Mascara Review

Bourjois: Volume Glamour Ultra Care Mascara

For Sensitive Eyes/Contact Lens Wearers
Colour: Noir/Black

2x Volume and Care - Regenerating and nourishing cotton and sweet almond oils

Pros: This is my favourite mascara. I have tried so many and usually most irritate my eyes but not this one. It gives nice buildable coverage, is not too heavy, doesn't clump, and lasts all day. It removes easily as well. It also makes my lashes look lovely and long. It fans the lashes out, separates them and makes them full and fluttery. The end result is natural looking lashes.

Cons: It can smudge a little in hotter weather and it isn't waterproof.

Thebalm: DownBoy Shadow/Blusher

Thebalm: DownBoy Shadow/Blush

A polished and put-together woman will make the boys go wild. This baby pink shadow/blush will add just the right amount of colour to ensure that you turn heads. theBalm formula is paraben-free and made of fine graded powder, which helps to provide an even and smooth texture to the skin. The light reflecting particles also give off an aura of elegance. When you can’t keep the boys away, blame it on the blush.

Pros: This blush is lovely, it's bright matte pink, blends well, lasts all day and makes your face look really fresh and feminine. I love the retro/vintage packaging and the cardboard is surprisingly sturdy. Also there is a lot of blush in the packaging in comparison to other blushes. Easy for travel and looks cute in your make-up bag. You only need a small amount because it is heavily pigmented, so it will last ages.

Cons: It doesn't come with a brush, but that isn't a necessity. It is slightly too powdery and there is fallout of the product onto the packaging. Slightly expensive.

Illamasqua: Skin Base Foundation Review

Illamasqua: Skin Base Foundation
Colour: SB 02

New formula inspired by cult Asian beauty balm creams.
This easily blendable formula effortlessly creates a perfect complexion. Suitable for all skin types, it smoothes, softens and conditions your skin while providing natural, buildable coverage. The ultimate 'skin realism' foundation.

Review:

Pros: I really enjoy finding new foundations, it's very hard nowadays to find a foundation that suits my skin, doesn't flake off during the day, isn't cakey and blends well. This foundation does all of this and best of all it moisturises my skin. It doesn't feel too heavy with the coverage and it's a lovely creamy consistency. Easily the best liquid foundation I have ever used.

Cons: The price and the size of the tube. Also I don't like the packaging. It will be hard to get out every last drop of this foundation and I probably will end up wasting product which I hate to do. Also if you don't powder well, it may leave a shiny residue (which isn't great because I have oily skin anyway.) However it hasn't broken my skin out which is a bonus.

Have you tried Illamasqua's Skin Base Foundation? What do you think of it? What other foundations do you recommend?

How to Use
Apply to the entire face morning and evening, after cleansing with Effaclar Purifying Foaming Cleanser. Apply before make-up. Can be used alone or with a moisturiser.

Pros: I really like this product. After using it for a while my skin is looking much better, clearer, less red with barely any imperfections (it's not perfect by any means - but I think that whatever I use my skin will still be bad because of the acne I had as a youngster). It's a nice creamy, gel like texture and you only need a tiny bit to smooth out all over your face. It helps to heal blemishes and acts as a great moisturiser underneath make-up. I am very happy with the results, application is easy, I like the packaging and it leaves no oily residue on your skin.

Cons: It has mixed reviews everywhere, so I was hesitant to try it, and at first it doesn't really make much of a difference but if you are patient with it i.e. use it longer than a month, you should start to see an improvement. Don't expect miracles!  It's quite a small tube and it may be expensive for some.

Benefit: High Beam Review

Benefit: High Beam: Luminescent Complexion Enhancer
High Beam creates that natural radiant glow you've always desired. It’s a a satiny pink highlighter that creates a young, radiant, fresh complexion on all skin tones.

It's a satiny pink liquid highlighter that accents cheekbones and brow bones for a radiant glow.

How to Use
Tips and tricks: Using the handy High Beam brush, draw an X on the apple of each cheek. Blend with fingertips in an upward, outward motion. For an all over glow, try mixing a small amount of high beam with your moisturiser. Dot and blend onto cheek and brow bones on bare skin or over makeup.

Pros: This is a really good highlighter for your cheeks/cheekbones or under brows. It illuminates the contours of your face and gives it an airbrushed, dewy look. The product has a unique nail varnish applicator which glides on easily and blends well into your skin, over foundation or under it. It's a very subtle shimmery glow that looks natural. It provides you with a homemade face lift! Even though it is pink in the bottle, when it's applied it blends magically with your skin tone. It also shows up on photographs so I would recommend it for going out as well as in the day.

Cons: The bottle is really small and it does require some reapplying.

Soap & Glory: Pulp Friction Scrub Review

Soap & Glory: Pulp Friction: Foamy Fruity Body Scrub

With fig powder, pumice, peppermint oil, lemonade tree liquid, orange waterjuice and vitaminballs (A,C,E)
'Beat that, other body scrubs'
New Fruitigo Fragrance with notes of frozen yuzu, orange oil, green fig, and jungle pomelo essence
SMOOTH UP A GEAR: Squeeze out a handful of Pulp Friction, rub it between your palms, then work it around in circles on damp skin. (You can start at your shoulders and work down, or tackle dry shins and feet before scrubbing up.) Rinse when you're finished.

Pros: This scrub is one of my favourites. As you've probably guessed I love Soap & Glory, but particularly this product. It lathers up a treat, it smells like a woodland fruity forest (in other words amazing!) which lingers on your skin after use. It is basically like a shower gel and a scrub in one so it's very practical if you're like me and don't bother to exfoliate that often. I love the fact that it contains pumice because the grains are less harsh and it seems to do a better job of getting rid of dead skin cells and leaving my skin feeling lovely and smooth. I highly recommend this product!

Cons: Slightly expensive for the amount however a little goes a long way. So the tube will probably last me ages.
